The pharmaceutical industry is the branch that is dedicated to the development, manufacture, production and commercialization of chemical materials for medicinal use for the prevention or treatment of diseases of the body.
Background of the Pharmaceutical Industry in Mexico
In Mexico, the development of the pharmaceutical industry took place a century later, after the revolutionary period of our nation, between 1917 and 1940. Thanks to the economic and social development that the Porfiriato brought with it, there was room for businessmen to invest in various industries that promised growth, such as pharmaceuticals; however, it did not have the same growth as other areas of the economy, which is why the State decided to invest in other areas of the industry, and the local pharmaceutical industry was displaced by international companies.
During the following years, there was a gradual growth, since the local industry saw its interests compromised due to the strong investment and foreign importation of medicines, however, currently it has become a productive and significant area of the national economy. A large part of the medicines used by the Mexican population are produced in the national territory, despite the fact that there are still transnational pharmaceutical companies that compete in the local market, with the local industry.
The industry continues to strengthen, despite the political limitations that may exist in our country, and technological innovation allows the use of new techniques, machines, and tools to produce medicines, drugs, and substances that are used in the pharmaceutical industry.

Centrifugal internal seal Pump, QIS Series
It is a sanitary centrifugal pump with internal seal and semi-open impeller that increases efficiency. One of the common application used in pharmaceutical industry is: injectable water, which is commonly used as a vehicle for the dilution of drugs administered via injection. Circumferential Piston Pump, QP Series
It is a pump that is dimensionally and hydraulically 100% interchangeable with other brands on the market, unlike the pumps of the competition, both the QP1 and QP2 pumps are a 304 stainless steel gear pump. Its main application is for the manufacture of pearls, pills and lozenges, as well as medicinal serums. Due to its reduced internal clearances, it has a wide range of applications, from low-viscosity products such as water to highly viscous products such as glucose.
